Purpose: This plan documents emergency arrangements for NDIS participants receiving OCC supports. It ensures that all relevant staff, emergency services, and contacts have the information needed to keep the participant safe during an emergency, evacuation, or natural disaster. Complete at commencement and review annually or after any significant change in health, disability, or living situation.

Section E: Emergency Supplies Kit

A 72-hour emergency kit must be maintained at the participant's primary residence. Tick all items included in the kit.

Medications: minimum 3-day supply, labelled with dose and times Medical equipment: charged batteries, chargers, and spare consumables Personal care items: continence aids, hygiene products, spare clothing Food and fluid supplies: including modified texture/thickened fluids if required Important documents: copy of NDIS plan, healthcare summary, Medicare card, photo ID Clothing: minimum 3 days, weather-appropriate Communication aids: AAC device charger, communication boards, hearing aid batteries
